I was dreading this but I had a brilliant session. Carl was kind, careful, friendly interested, interesting and took his time to ensure the photos were right. We were able to delete the bad ones there and then and I still had a huge number of contact sheets with very good photos. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

Carl’s approach really worked for me and I couldn’t be happier with my headshots. He is very professional and focused and I think that made me step up as a professional too, as opposed to an awkward participant. He regularly stopped for us to have a look at the shots he’d taken and breaking up the session in this way gave me not just a break from posing but the chance to re-focus.  I couldn’t believe how many of the shots I really loved and it was actually really hard to choose the final 5. Carl was great, very professional, really knows what works and what doesn’t and was easy to chat to. He says the shoot will take as long as it takes and he means just that. I was there for nearly 4 hours! You watch the shots back on a TV screen as you go, which really helps and he provides you will everything that was shot on a CD afterwards. He holds nothing back and doesn’t charge extra for anything. His indoor shots are the best I’ve seen because they don’t have a horrible ‘studio’ background.

Just fantastic. He was so relaxed and put no time pressure onto the shoot. We stopped at regular intervals to see how the pictures were looking and to learn from them. I’d never had head shots taken before, but as there was no time limit on the session I didn’t feel under any pressure, helping me to relax. He was also really good at directing me to try subtle differences in pose and attitude. Being able to review all the shots on a TV screen as we went along meant we quickly found what worked well for me and could discard anything that didn’t straight away. Carl delivered the contact sheets, my chosen five touched-up images, and the CD containing all of the images really promptly.
